The grinding media in the grinder are divided into glass beads, ceramic beads, steel beads and so on according to the different materials. Then how should the grinding media in the sand mill be used correctly?

Media of sand mill and its filling amount: sand mill can use glass ball, zirconium oxide ball and steel ball as grinding media. It is good to choose media with uniform particle size for each medium, and should be cleaned and screened in advance before putting into the cylinder. In the grinding process, a certain medium should be selected according to the dispersion fineness and viscosity of the grinding material. The principle is: the harder the material, the harder the media should be chosen; the finer the product requirement, the finer the media particle size, and the filling amount should be increased accordingly; the coarser the grinding material particle size, the coarser the media particle size. Precautions for loading media in sand mill: If the temperature in production is too high, the loading quantity should be reduced to control the grinding temperature at the ideal temperature scale. If the product outlet temperature is too low, consider gradually increasing the media before increasing the speed to improve efficiency. The service life of grinding media: In order to achieve very good efficiency, the media in use should be replaced and increased in time to remove its residual parts and replenished with corresponding new grinding media. Its service life should be based on different material varieties to explore the law, and timely replacement and increase.
