The grinding media in the grinder is divided into glass beads, ceramic beads, steel beads and so on according to the different materials. Then how should the grinding media in the sand mill be used correctly?
Sand mill media and its filling amount: sand mill can use glass balls, zirconia balls and steel balls as grinding media. Each media selection of uniform particle size media is good, and should be cleaned and screened in advance before putting into the cylinder.
In the grinding process, should be based on the dispersion of grinding material fineness and viscosity to choose a certain media, the principle is: the harder the material, should choose the harder the media; product requirements, the finer the media particle size, the finer the filling volume should be increased accordingly; grinding material particle size, the coarser the media particle size, the coarser.
Sand mill grinding media filling is about 90% of the cylinder volume, the specific should be loaded how much, according to the particle size of the media, the material's sensitivity to temperature, as well as material varieties and other factors to determine.
The second is the service life of the grinding media. To achieve the ideal grinding efficiency, the use of the media should be replaced and added at the right time, eliminating the broken and defective parts, supplemented with the corresponding new quality. Its service life should be based on different varieties of materials to find out the law, timely replacement and addition.
Finally, it is about the sand mill media loading points of attention. If the temperature is too high in the production, the loading should be reduced to control the grinding temperature in the ideal temperature range, if the product export temperature is too low, you can consider gradually increase the media to improve efficiency before increasing the speed.
