In the existing equipment, the grinder and disperser are mostly two kinds of equipment with independent functions. The material after grinding needs to be dispersed through another process, which seriously affects the efficiency of the equipment. Moreover, for different viscosity materials in the grinding and dispersing process, the flow range is wide, there are static and dynamic grinding body and grinding materials in the grinding process heat, poor heat dissipation performance and other issues.

At high speed, the high speed rotation of the cutter generates strong shear force, and the material generates heat, which raises the temperature inside the tank. When processing liquids, the temperature rise should be stopped so that the jacket can be used.

Indeed, if too little heat is generated, the disperser may be considered to be operating inefficiently or poorly dispersed. However, an increase in the temperature of the slurry can have a number of detrimental effects; the temperature rise, even if small, can greatly reduce the viscosity of the material and turn laminar flow into turbulence, and the kinetic energy of this turbulence is immediately converted into heat, resulting in an undesirable temperature rise.

The dispersing effect is replaced by thermal synergies and re-working the disperser is just a waste of time and effort. In addition, the increase in material temperature can cause the destruction of additives, evaporation loss or reduce efficiency. The solubility of ionic wetting and dispersing additives in water increases with the increase of temperature, which reduces their adsorption on the solid-liquid interface, thus reducing their use.

It is a good method to use the container with jacket and pass the cooling water into the jacket for cooling. Intermittent mixing can also be used, that is, when the temperature of the slurry is too high, stop mixing for a period of time, for the operation of cooling down after high-speed mixing, or in low-speed mixing under the full pre-mixing, made of high-quality pigment agglomerates slurry, and then quickly dispersed in a short period of time, the temperature should not be too high, the operation is completed to achieve the purpose of dispersion and so on.
